Private Retreat

In a sprawling, historical stately house in Amsterdam, we created a private space for the owner. An art collector, she wanted a retreat in her own home, a place for entertaining, working and quiet solitude. She also wanted modern styling to contrast the historic décor of the rest of the house.

The multifunctional wall works as a gallery to display art and is a work-of-art light-form itself. The wall also hides desk space and a TV.
